Custom Artwork & Portrait Experience
Regardless of your pet’s age, personality, or needs, every in-home pet photography session is approached with patience and care. I take the time needed to capture who they truly are and allow their personality to shine! Whether that means choosing backdrop colors that complement your pet and your home, letting an anxious rescue settle in at their own pace, bringing out the good treats for a stubborn pup, or creating a slower and more comfortable experience for a senior or disabled pet, every detail is thoughtfully tailored to them.
Custom pet artwork is selected separately after your session and thoughtfully designed around your home and vision. And while designing custom artwork might seem overwhelming, my process is designed to feel simple, collaborative, and fun. Using virtual design tools, we’ll work together to create artwork that feels personal to your pet and your space.

Artwork Designed For Your Home
Whether you’re looking for a bold statement piece, a handcrafted album, or a keepsake photo box, every piece is created to feel like it truly belongs in your home and reflects the bond you share with your pet.
Using photos of your space and virtual design tools, we’ll work together to help you visualize different artwork sizes, layouts, and finishes before anything is ordered. You don’t need to be an interior designer or know exactly what you want going into the process. My goal is to make the process feel relaxed, exciting, and deeply personal from beginning to end.
From bold statement artwork to timeless framed portraits and modern display pieces, every piece is crafted using archival materials designed to last for years to come.
For families with multiple pets, albums and photo boxes are a beautiful way to showcase their different personalities and moments from the session. Each album is custom designed with a selection of fabrics, layouts, and cover options, creating a piece that feels uniquely yours.
The handcrafted photo boxes are designed to both store and display your portraits, allowing you to easily rotate artwork throughout your home while also keeping your images protected for years to come.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Lexis to anyone looking for a photographer who truly understands the art of capturing precious memories.— VIDHI, MOM TO A RESCUE DOG
Common Questions
A few things families often ask before booking their pet portrait session.
-
Absolutely. Every pet is different, and sessions are always approached with patience, flexibility, and your pet’s comfort in mind. There’s no expectation for “perfect” behavior here. Some of the most meaningful portraits come from allowing pets to be themselves at their own pace. To keep the experience relaxed and unrushed, only one session is scheduled per day, with no strict time limit. This allows plenty of time for breaks, warmups, treats, and letting your pet settle in naturally.
-
Yes. Little & Loyal Studio specializes in studio-style pet portraits created through a fully mobile travel studio experience. A professional backdrop and lighting setup is brought directly into your home, allowing your pet to stay in a familiar environment while still creating polished, studio-quality portraits. Rather than asking pets to adjust to a studio environment, the studio experience is brought directly into your home.
-
Dogs and cats are the most common, though all beloved pets are welcome. If they are part of your family, they deserve to be celebrated too. If you have a different type of companion animal in mind, feel free to reach out and chat about your ideas.

Yes. Little & Loyal Studio offers custom framed artwork, wall art, albums, and keepsake photo boxes designed to become part of your home and daily life long after the session is over. Every piece is selected and customized with your home and style in mind.

Little & Loyal Studio is based in New Jersey and primarily serves Central and North Jersey, including Edison, Montclair, Morristown, Hoboken, Jersey City, and surrounding areas. Travel may also be available for select sessions outside these locations.
-
That’s completely okay. Sessions are designed to work with your pet’s personality and energy level rather than against it. Breaks, treats, toys, and patience are all part of the process, and a little movement is often what brings personality into the portraits. Because only one session is booked per day, there’s never pressure to rush your pet through the experience, and there is no strict session time limit.
-
It’s recommended to reach out a few weeks in advance whenever possible, especially for weekends or seasonal sessions. However, availability can vary, so don’t hesitate to inquire even if you’re hoping for something sooner.
